My client also has 'Adobe Printer' installed perhaps still on Windows XP. So somehow I need to mimic the presence of the Adobe Printer. Adobe Reader has never had a PDF printer, you can use Foxit Reader, PrimoPDF, CutePDF and other tools. The only applications that include a PDF printer from Adobe is Adobe Acrobat Professional or Standard. That is not true.
The issue might occur due to some corruption in the driver.
In the Add Printer dialog box, select Add a Local Printer or Network printer with Manual Settings. Select Use an existing port option and select Documents.pdf (Adobe PDF) from the drop-down list.
